Not looking good. Coach may have known if they didn’t get the first down UNLV would roll anyway.
I think the first missed attempt near their goal line should have been a field goal. We should have taken the points not gambled on the 4 th down.

The Bison go down 13-7. A final frantic drive with a collapsing O line ended with an INT.
Tough game, lots of yards, trouble scoring. They got out played and I have to say out-coached. They played tough but 4 INTs and a ton of penalties were too much.

We blew a great chance for a special and highly publicized season tonight. Really sad.

The UNLV defense smothered the Herd. The Bison couldn’t score. They got the yards but the virtual offensive field was 300 yards!

Should have mentioned the penalties that killed Bison drives and gave UNLV unearned opportunities. Not sure why it is uncharacteristic.

Jason Kelly closing commentary
- UNLV felt disrespected. Now Vindicated
- Lights a little too bright for the Bison
- Time for Bison fans to get on their Allegiant flights and go home

This week, as go The Bison so goes the GAM: -189.
It was a winning ticket beating all spreads but suffering an upset. It was a defensive week in the MWC so things were rough in the total score column.
The UNLV upset took 454 off the table. Our celebration ended with The Bison. It’s a critical loss making a conference championship tougher and home field even tougher. The New Mexico game is looming large. New Mexico currently -7.5.
No time to look ahead. A huge Fargodome game with UNR is looming.
GO BISON!!!

BISON receivers dropped a lot of passes. Had trouble getting open.

Exciting small college action this weekend
In OT Sioux Falls beat the Dragons of Moorhead 29-28. The Dragons scored first in OT to lead 28-21. USF scored and apparently went for 2! The “Old College Try”, winning 29-28.
Northern State continued to struggle losing to Duluth 34-7.
In other small college action The Northern Iowa Panthers continue to surge beating und2 24-17. After falling behind 3 scores the hawks made a run but came up short. I guess it was another good loss for the former Big Sky school.
