The GAM is a relative strength index. If both teams get their game it should end close to the indicated results. Teams both under play and over play their historical averages. That’s why, during the regular season, we stay away from a lot of opportunities.

In the playoffs we have always been on house money, this year compliments of the Colorado Buffaloes, and play a little faster and looser. We didn’t enter 5 of the 24 possible transactions last week. On my own money I might have only gone on a couple of them

The Co guys got pissed because I took the Bison and points for the money. I took the money line too. 5 yds from success. But, it was a net gain. They said NDSU lost. I said they won because I had the pts and the money.

One of the most exciting propositions in college football is will the Bison cover the spread. This one could be one of those games.

If their QB is healthy, will he throw for 300+ yards?

Hard to say...his stats say yes, but his coemption is lackluster., possibly laughable.

However, our secondary can be Jekyll and Hyde, and when they are bad, they are real bad.

Does anyone trust our secondary if a QB throws 35-40 times against them, and has some skill and competence?
I'm not so sure I do, but I would love to be wrong.

There are question marks. We lost to USD and Co because our secondary was struggling or broke down. I’m looking forward to this game. This team has so much offense they benefitted from an upward adjustment. That adjustment and a few other things might not materialize for them. It could be a wild one.

NFLs down too. Football may be a dying sport. As far as the nfl goes it’s the people in it driving away fans. They used to entertain now they create rancor. Not sure about college. Maybe the sport has taken a knee? The NBA sure has.

But never fear, this could be a decent game

NAZ had potential to score 31 and win against Abilene. They were shut out. That’s impressive. I like ACU speed and their passing. They play fast physical football. Against the BISON they have the potential this week to put up 26. On AGS that’s enough to beat the Herd.

Their defense is suspect but shutout NAZ. It looked solid to me

They are winning and putting up big stats. That’s what good teams do against inferior competition, Bison fans know that, often being criticized themselves for strength of schedule when facing FBS foes. NDSU looks a lot like ACU when stepping out on the big stage.

The Bison are a solid favorite but caution is the name of the game. Be careful bragging and betting.

I'm not so sure on that. ACU looks to have a really good passing game and the Bison secondary has been far less than stellar at times.

If we win by 6 points, neither team should advance.

Lots of good eastern FCS teams have proven to be paper tigers. ACU is a Texas team.
  • They lose at Texas Tech 52-51 in OT
  • They lost to #4 Idaho 27-24
  • Beat #5 Central Ark 41-34
  • Beat #14 Tarleton 35-31
  • Beat #17 Northern AZ 24-0
Most games were close. Only blow out Utah Tech 55-30. Big loss last reg season game SFAustin 19=32

It could be a foot race. GAM says Bison won’t cover. Be cautious while bragging and betting.

Ps. One thing for Bison fans to consider: ACU has never, to the best of my knowledge, been considered for MWC football only membership, which is a nice confidence builder, but on the other hand have had success against those that have.
