The two oil giants are playing for bragging rights. It’s a sold out Fargo Dome Stage is set for an epic battle

These two states are power houses in the oil patch. Bragging rights will be a drill bit on a wood base.with some writing.

Baby things change. In D2 it was the Nickel. FCS the Marker. FBS the drill bit: NORTH DAKOTA STATE vs UNIVERSITY of WYOMING signifying bragging rights for one of these oil giants.

Bison Information thinks the route factor is all NDSU. If the Bison get out in front early it could snowball. I agree. Our spread of -10.5 Bison is pretty sound. Currently the spread at Fan Duel NDSU -18.5. Bison may have trouble with that.

We are meeting later to get our positions straight.

The Bison Information boys will be broadcasting from the tailgate. Watch for them, they would like to meet people. One of them will be working on the CW but the other guys will show up. I believe they are in the press box too. Good knowledgeable bunch. I enjoy their insights.

A little further explanation

• Navy travels to Air Force. Both average 333 yds/ game rushing with good Rush defenses. Unfortunately Navy gives up 255 yds/game passing The Falcons will go to the air to open up the game.

• UNLV has Arnold but Cal has the better passing game and passing defense.

• UNM defense is just too good. The only question in my mind: can the offense cover 22.5. It will be a fun game

• “THE BATTLE OF THE BASINS” Wyo @ NDSU. First run at the new prize. Looks like a mismatch on paper. I’m sure the Bison want to win big. Another fun game, sold out too!

• SJSU @ Hawaii should be another close one. Both defenses are weak, particularly against the pass but Hawaiis rushing game is a huge weakness providing the SJSU edge
