The 18 million people talk about sounds suspiciously like the 18 million from the not-yet-realized settlement funds ear-marked by the MWC for future expansion. They also appear to need an expansion of the media deal to pay new teams

NDSU should be able to schedule OOC Conference USA, The MAC & Sun Belt. Along with the MWC it’s the new FCS. They may still have to schedule FCS squads especially early in the transition.

I heard the way had been cleared and it’s up to NDSU. Do they still do campus visits? New members do need to apply. With so much favorable MWC fan support this all seems probable.

Maybe it will just be a merger? MWC playoff spot and overall conference weakness make it an attractive proposition. Details, if ever disclosed, will be interesting.

NDSU Is really putting on a display of power. Stoic. Not a word out of them. Drama is building. Fan talk is running wild. Is SDSU in? What is cooking?

I was thinking the President of the university. He probably watched the CFP & FCS games. Like me he probably noticed the dramatic difference in scale.

After this mornings brief moment of excitement the reality of the move once again set-in. I can’t imagine a CFP game in the FFD. Inadequate is polite. Long way to go to play at that level of football.
