Comments are very interesting. One person thinks NDSU has a football only invite in hand from an unnamed conference and is demanding full membership. Others say it won’t happen until 2028 or so

Is that worth giving up the playoffs in a growing and strengthening FCS?

I’m on the fence. If it pays better it’s probably worth it.

. The ivy is no good, I get it. They have money. They have pride. They won’t like Fargo and will covet home field. they will get better. They have a good start:

Besides there are a lot of FCS programs with FBS ambitions Tarleton among them. Like NDSU, I expect them to up their game to FBS levels.

@ 25 minutes In This one talks about the nil money. NDSU doesn’t have it. 30-40 million per year in nil. Players now are taking pay cuts to move to the NFL. The dream of FBS success needs to change. That FBS doesn’t exist It’s not the 1980s anymore, these aren’t college kids being student athletes and no more of that old college try, it has nothing to do with college. It’s all business. Team Makers is not about the team. College football is now big time entertainment sponsored by your local college.
