If you've ever received an electronic payment from the US Government (including a tax refund), Elon Musk now has your name, birthdate, SSN, and bank account information. What could possibly go wrong giving a private individual access to America's checkbook?

Even taking $100 from 10 million people is a lot of money for a billionaire. Or maybe he'll just steal fractions of pennies like the movie Office Space.
Mrs. Hammerhead used to do some accounting for Microsoft and there are factions of pennies moved from one account to another every time someone logs into their Xbox account so that could really happen.
