MWC: WEEK #0

We have researched the Bison, JAX, SJSU and Hawaii rosters. Unless adjustments are noted GAM predictions are based on 2025 cumulative stats
  • Bison statistics were adjusted.
  • JAX is a SR laden team, SJSU brings a strong running game and Hawaii has the QB and receivers
  • Those teams are likely to be as good as last season.
  • With all their money I just took it for granted UNLV wouldn’t lose a step.

The UNLV game is a toss-up between two powerful offenses. It would be a good win for the MWC. Some odds makers are favoring UNLV.

Things have been fluctuating rapidly. Fan Duel has been moving closer to GAM predictions and odds have generally narrowed.

All promise to be excellent football games. Stopping USC from covering would be fun to see, making for an interesting game

Just talked to a New Mexico fan. They are expecting 30-35,000 for the Bison game. It’s a hot ticket!

They want to play NDSU for the well pump trophy between two big oil states.

Boys at Hot Mic are disappointed in ticket sales. Wyoming is sold out but demand for other games is lagging. Is there demand for FBS football in Fargo? I thought, like they did, demand would be high.

Condition of the FFD was mentioned. Haven’t been there in a while, concourses were too small then. Can’t imagine it’s any better. Fargo needs to step it up. Get the Fargo Dome upgraded or build new. It’s starting to look like it’s a 30 year building.

Good chance the quality of football at the FFD is going up. Games should be more exciting with the easy afternoon a welcome event. Boredom has been an issue. Improved competition was a big motivation. Given a little time the game will bring fans back.

Looking at the JAX game the corners and along the top in several sections are remaining. They don’t need to sell any more for a great crowd but I’m sure they would like those revenues.

20 Bison in the NFL, more than Indiana

I looked at tickets again, NDSU is having trouble with the higher rows. Once into the double letters it can get to be a climb. Elevators in The Dome Improvement/Expansion plan would have solved that.

In aggregate I would say 1/4 of the seats are left almost all in those top rows. If they don’t sell another ticket Good crowds, maybe larger than the FCS crowds, are assured. If they win it will probably sell-out. I am surprised the excitement level isn’t as high as the D1/FCS transition.

SJSU picks up a vote! That would be an upset. The GAM doesn’t think they can win but USC can’t cover. Currently the spread is 35.5

JVSU is not sold out yet Except for this pre-game fan experience
*The Kick Off Tee Retriever is SOLD OUT for this game
I had no idea these game experience packages were available. I know our tail gate would take the cheer team visit option for sure. As an old man I might not mind the team entry experience either, if I could be guaranteed last place.

I was really surprised. I thought these games, especially this one would repeat the FCS experience. If Fargo really is a football town it should start to sell-out. I thought this would be another Valpo. Wyo is the big draw.

True, of the approximately 25% remaining very few are sidelines unless very high up. Most are in the end zone corners (NW & SE) and across the top rows.

Go Bison!!!
