Not much new except the certainty it will happen. They are studying it over the coming months. Mainly focused on football this will formalize the huge disparity in funding, making it almost impossible for smaller schools to compete,
Depending on the final structure it may deal the G6 out of any P4 competition including the CFP. A new G6 playoff may be needed. Maybe FCS/G6 unification at least among the schools opting-in.
Division A1 - basically the old P 4
Division 1A - G6 Should be easy to market and package
Division 1AA - FCS

Does this make NDSUs move moot & 12.5 wasted? It remains to be seen. I think the fee will be recovered through MWC payouts guaranteed till 2032, when the agreement expires.
