I get the frustration of the NDSU fans, but what is it with firing coaches? It’s a total team effort right? Strength of the Bison is the strength of The Herd. It was a great football game. Improbable I believe but an exciting roller coaster of a game Bison fans normally expect to win, especially with 5 TOs to the teams benefit.

A few fans saw it coming I thought it was bravado with the Redbird fans, not prophetic. Could the game have been taken for granted by team and fans alike? Coach advised several times Stay humble Bison.

The other playoffs are set. Certainly a high point in the James Madison dynasty. Don’t see any MWC teams anywhere.

#12 James Madison vs. #5 Oregon – Dec. 20, 7:30pm, TNT/HBO Max (Winner plays Texas Tech)

#11 Tulane vs. #6 Ole Miss – Dec. 20, 3:30pm, TNT/HBO Max (Winner plays Georgia)

#10 Miami #7 Texas A&M – Dec. 20, 12:00pm, ESPN/ABC (Winner plays Ohio State)

#9 Alabama vs. #8 Oklahoma – Dec. 19, 8:00pm, ESPN/ABC (Winner plays Indiana)

James Madison went from just under 8 million in football spending to 16~ million in 2024. 8 million was a small budget for them down from their typical 11.5 in previous years.

I’m anxious to see what the money buys them.
