Chevron near 52 week low. Pays 5% goes X-date 5/19. Sell puts around 135, an important first sigma marker. They have been at the money. Nice premium and if put a dividend too. I need 137 for a condor next week unless I get put at 135 Friday. Be tactical when pricing the call side. It might explode upwards. Consensus price target for the year is around 185. We were in the 160s a couple weeks ago.

Options expiration day.
Signals tell me I may get a chance to close puts early. If this extends past the open they will get cheap fast. I’m watching these. These signals are fun to find and watch and often predictive but they are just signs along the trail. Everybody invested watches them from the very basic are we up or down today to the other extreme wondering about the hammer with Venus in retrograde. It’s all part of the fun.
It took the overnight double bottom about 7 hours to form. Now seven hours later a double top emerges signaling a reversal. traders are telling us they aren’t willing to take it any further. This usually tells the crowd to take profits and look elsewhere. In this case they may trade sideways to the bell waiting to see what stupid money like mine does.

Anyway, I took a shave for the first time in awhile last week. I successfully timed the India/pakistan mess but I didn’t take into account that everyone hates both countries and hopes they kill each other. Best meme I saw was “I just hope both teams have fun” lol
