Pack 12 finances not good. Merger with MWC seems more likely than an invite for NDSU to either conference.

Looks like it’s going to be a while if ever. They just don’t need more schools.

Rumors never stop. Hearing a lot of UNLV to Pac12. Doesn’t seem likely. Who knows?

FBS schools switching conferences gives opportunity to NDSU. enough consolidation forces the last losing conference to look at the FCS. Probably Tarleton or Sac State. UC Davis is ready to bring football too.

NDSU is a dark horse. Forget all sports except for the Big 10 and Big 12. The next generation may see them there. For now it’s the best to be in the D1 MVFC/Summit. Maybe a good FBS starter offer will come.

Besides existing MWC/Pac12 conference teams Texas State* seems to be the most mentioned FBS transfer.

Both conferences are scrambling for the best media deal. Marquee teams are first to move and get the most money. NDSU doesn’t seem to excite many of them. Probably to some NDSU look a little like Augi with a new gym.
