If yesterday is any indication there will be some great first round games. The top teams in the FCS are playing an exciting, fun brand of football lots of parity too.
Sioux fans are understandably excited after their quality loss. Experts up there figure the quality losses should get them in

7-4 vs FCS
1 pt loss to Montana
5 pt loss to South Dakota
5 pt loss to NDSU
3 pt loss to SDSU
The committee probably wants them in. Cheaper to send them to Fargo. Personally I would like to see them with 5 quality losses. It would probably be their best team ever. Two years from now they figure their new coach will have them on top. Up there that may mean 0-12 all quality losses.

GAM Weekly Results:
89% on the spreads
75% on playable money lines
44% on the over/under. Hopefully the new “perfect day” analysis will help with this.
If the GAM doesn’t work the resulting annual superiority over the Vegas computers is just luck. Any football idiot, me included, should week after week do as well. Vegas would be broke.
Everybody knows who is going to win, they slow down a bit when spreads are introduced. The over under is pure guesswork. The odds test your resolve and take their toll. It’s in the numbers. That’s why we use the GAM. It’s been winning since the 5 Dime days.

This season we played far more games. The GAM was designed to find the Vegas “mistakes”. In past years we only played reversals, 2 this week, and ridiculous spreads, Austin Peay comes to mind.
This year we expanded to the contenders, hand picked a few games and, noting exceptions, played every playable line as the GAM instructed. We rolled a lot more weekly, we had uncustomary bad weeks but ended with a kitty worthy of the playoffs.
