We are already at the top level of the NCAA for the major sports, other than football, which we now are...but somehow, I'm not sure you understood that?

Very positive response from college football.

I was wrong about the untapped support. Fargo money has stepped into the arena. The excitement and interest off the charts. It was good news on an otherwise questionable Super Sunday.

Lots of resentment from und but very positive everywhere else.I have been. Clearly the positive momentum is overwhelming any cautions examined on Bison Forum. It’s happened. It’s exciting and it’s going to be fun.

One common theme is the desire of other regional programs to follow. We will see. The vision of an FBS conference emerging in the Dakotas/Montana/Idaho is still out there. There is regret all around about the break up of longtime regional conference partnerships.

Currently GAM programmers are constructing an accurate predictive model of the New Mountain West Football Conference.

The future is wide open and it looks like Fargo and NDSU are rushing in!

I’m starting to see a lot of G6 playoff talk expanding the CFP formate to 16 maybe 24. I’m unclear on next season. NDSU can’t participate during transition years. Hopefully, at that time, it’s expanded so The Bison have at lest a Mercyhersts chance of winning it.

I’m not excited about a bowl game but the possible opponent could change that. By the looks of the bowl games excitement is generally low. The MWC championship game would look good in Fargo.

Away games may become our new adventure. Las Vegas is close and the Big 10 & 12 are going to crack under the pressure. Their fans will want the games too. Used to live in Douglas and know Laramie & Wyoming well.

Tickets in Fargo will be impossible. Game day will be revitalized. Development/convention center/hotel seem like no-brainers. A new larger stadium may become a competing idea or baked into the plan. 18,000 seats will probably not be enough to hold the Bison now.

Hopefully radio is continuing unchanged. The mountain west app will bring streaming with cbs and paramount+ getting in on the action. Costs for TV games is going up.

Will the Bison succeed? That’s what this story is all about. That’s why the news is rocking college football.
