Big game tonight! First FBS game since BF moved up! Rumors FCS coverage will be dropped false.

Opt-in squads will have 20 million and unlimited NIL spending. It boils down to scale and size The MWFC & FCS fit NDSU bill. They are buying FCS & NDSU talent right now.

Fargo money is big. Unfortunately FBS will pay more. NDSU doesn’t belong competing against institutions 5x their size with NIL too. Even the P4 is devolving into a pecking order of size.

NDSU needs an FCS rebound. First year under new rules they are looking shabby and out early.

If I’m the MWC NDSU isn’t the first choice anyway. Too small. Stadium issues and location don’t add up. With no invite ever anywhere That should be obvious by now.

If they get down to NDSU they are truly at the barrels bottom.

We stayed with these early positions. There have been fluctuations in odds but not enough to inspire. The FBS kitty is low. We spent the FCS money. There were no glaring errors from Las Vegas.

Hope everyone enjoyed the game. I saw some of it myself. The GAM 4 pt spread was spot.on. The defenses collapsed and the officials moved the ball a lot. The OU held until the 2 min warning. Result -5. The VIG!

It was a good first outing experts are comparing to The James Madison run.. We lost 3 programmers to the portal but are replacing from lower ranks. I turned down my NIL offer, staying loyal to the old Alma Mater. Honor and loyalty before money. Yea, that’s it.

Another big FBS game tonight. Should help with the stars in the eyes.

A couple things.

• Readership capacity is too small. BF Can’t book the OOC home games as hoped

• NIL money insufficient to acquire and keep top talent needed for the CFP.

• The old Bison Forum way of recruiting and culture is broken

• The budget was just about doubled. Admin, coaches etc got most if it.

Starting to look like our future rosters are going to be mostly young, developing programmers. We may become a high level development squad for the true FBS programs.

Lesson learned. Lost the VIG again picking up the OU. Oregon looked like the Bison will probably look in Eugene. Hard to believe the Ducks destroyed MSU so easily. Expect the same.

The GAM measures comparative strengths to expose Las Vegas missteps. The FBS has a lot of parity in the P4, professional Division, The GAM is designed to find mistakes not predict the future (a successful by-product).. The CFP games haven’t seen many mistakes. Not much opportunity. Results confirm Vegas is very good, but not perfect.

Roster changes destroy a teams continuity. Early season static is stronger than ever. The changes under the settlement mean lots of annual roster changes. Recruit, develop and steep in a culture of winning no longer works as well. The Professional P4 division is no different than the NFL.

Changes coming to the tactics. CFP sucked up half of our FCS winnings. Not next year. Tactics are under review.

Surprised to see the experts mimicking the GAM @ Indiana -7 & total 48. With no differences this one is simply a guess. The odds are not at all attractive either. Expensive to take Indiana. The spread, ML & Total score on a profitable Miami upset cost the same right now as Indiana on the money.

Looks like the Grateful Dead Fare-Thee-Well 3 night stand a few years back at Soldiers Field. We scalped a couple tickets for $4,500. Paid for our concert and most of trip.
