When "Angels Fall" comes on, the volume goes up and the head starts nodding to the beat.

They have had quite a revolving door for everyone except Burnley.

Benjamin Burnley: Lead vocals, rhythm guitar (1999–present)Jeremy Hummel: Drums (1999–2004)Jonathan "Bug" Price: Bass (1999–2001)Jason Davoli: Bass (2001–2002)

The Classic Lineup Era (2005–2011)Following the early, fluid lineups, the band solidified with Benjamin Burnley, Aaron Fink, Mark Klepaski, and drummer Chad Szeliga, releasing acclaimed albums Phobia (2006) and Dear Agony (2009) before a hiatus. The Re-Formed Era (2014–Present)Following a hiatus and lineup changes, Benjamin Burnley returned in 2014 with a new lineup featuring Jasen Rauch, Keith Wallen, Aaron Bruch, and Shaun Foist. This roster has since released chart-topping albums including Dark Before Dawn (2015) and Ember (2018).Recent Updates (2025–Present)In 2025, Brian Medeiros replaced long-time drummer Shaun Foist.

Thanks for the update User1.

Once they have a catalog, deeper the better, bands become more like orchestras. It’s great to see original players still carrying their weight. 1 or 2 seems necessary. Like orchestras it really doesn’t matter who plays in the band. Like all professional musicians, they have the music in front of them.

As a rule touring bands are polished and professional, often great.

Ben famously fired the original line up via fax.

I read it was email, not sure which is correct, but either way it was a dick move!
On the other hand, the band is named after him. He's the frontman and his voice is unique...right or wrong it is his band.

No doubt a bitter split. Don’t have any idea what was behind it all. As a group they produced some good music. From happier times this is the one that started it way back in 2001

Don’t forget the eclipse in our area beginning around 5pm, that is if I read their sky chart correctly. This one will be less than 20% covered. In 2044 we get a total eclipse. I saw one in 2017, it’s going to be worth the wait.

I played call of duty with Ben a few times. He was good. He’d post his gamer tag on MySpace lol

He talked about refusing to fly and then about not touring Europe. He was strung out on something but I suppose we all were bro.

We didn’t know how good we had it. Give me a Time Machine. Baby Hitler is spared. I’m going back to 09 buying bitcoin and dropping nukes on mw2 with the boys.

"Blow Me Away"
Remix controversy
When drummer Jeremy Hummel filed a federal wrongful termination lawsuit against the band, he contended that he co-wrote the song.[6] In March 2010, it was announced that Hollywood Records was seeking the band's permission to produce the remix with additional vocals from Sydnee Duran of Valora.[7] In May 2011, while the band was on hiatus due to Burnley's health issues, guitarist Aaron Fink and bassist Mark Klepaski gave the label permission to remix the song after being offered money.[7] Burnley fired both two days later.[7] In June, Burnley filed a lawsuit against Fink and Klepaski, seeking at least $750,000 in damages and the exclusive right to the band's name.[7] He claimed that both members had made unilateral and unauthorized decisions on behalf of the band, though both of them denied these claims.[8] On April 19, 2013, Burnley announced that the dispute between him and the other members had been resolved and that he retained the right to continue the band under the name Breaking Benjamin.[9]
