Now that the Bison have won the Summit it’s fair to point out that all season long Lakes has been WRONG about the basketball team too.
Coach Richman has done a fabulous job. The season had its ups and downs but the team has progressively improved.
Got to put away St Thomas and have some fun with und2.

Summit league is a joke
Ndsu hasn’t beaten a team in top 100
Richman lost some bad games and had 5-6 games they should’ve lost
They better not extend him

If they get into the NCAA joke might be on you? lowest they could be ranked is 68.
This Richman coached team sure did well down the stretch. Far from losing 3 or 4 as you predicted, the Bison looked well coached and disciplined clinching the title. All Bison fans, except 1 apparently, can be proud of Coach Richman and his talented, well coached Bison team.
Couple exciting, fun games left then on to the Summit Tournament in beautiful Sioux Falls!

What a game. Division 1 Saint Thomas defended their home court 84-62. The meaningless game lacked inspiration.
a tired relaxed league leading Bison squad didn’t display their normally disciplined, well-coached play that made the Bison Summit Champions..
The lower squads are fighting to improve their seed at the Summit Tournament. Expect a challenge at 4PM sat when und2 invades the Bison Sports Arena.

Bison are -11.5 over und2 today
Coach Richman has the #1 seed locked. The Bison stumbled Thursday so a win at home is big.
und2 needs a win over The North Dakota Flagship Bison

to stay alive for the 2nd Summit tournament seed. From the tone up there they want the win.
It’s a big game. Let’s hope the Bison players are feeling better. A win and a sweep over und2 would be a good way to roll into beautiful Sioux Falls South Dakota and a chance at the brass ring!
South Dakota schools meet in Vermillion at 1 pm. Jacks -3.5.

They might lose 3/4 more
Looks like just one loss not 3/4. Nostradamus was wrong again...but then what's new?

It was another un-reasoned prediction spoken in haste no doubt. Got to love his enthusiasm though rivaled the Great effort we saw on the court this afternoon.
Those kids from the professional school gave it all they had in what must have been an exciting visit to North Dakota’s largest city and NDSU, the State’s Flagship University. Sure it was a disappointing 96 - 63 loss but the stydent/athletes and their loyal parents have memories for a lifetime!
It’s only 80 miles but worlds apart! I doubt the Hawks stay in the hotel tonight but they deserve a big pat on the back for their entertaining effort today. They left it all on the court. fans in Grand Forks should turn out to give their team a real warm welcome home.
In the meantime congratulations to The Bison and Coach Richman, 2026 Summit League Men’s Basketball Champions!
