So +140 means bet $100 lose $100 or win $140? Do I understand that correctly?

Yes. -140 would mean wager 140 to make 100.

Odds of +$140 means put down $100 to win $140.

Odds of -$110 means you put down $110 to win $100

For anyone interested it’s all explained here 8-)

Ticket prices have come down some. The most expensive on stub hub this morning are on the right. I don’t Like the end zones or down low in that stadium. Halfway up between the thirties are the best seats.

No change in the odds but the O/U is now 56.5. The GAM system shows 56 so we have the over at 55.5. I guess we could take the under now and break even. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of action on this game and ticket prices have softened considerably.

Doing a little math stub hub inventory has shrunk by about 50%. That’s an indication to me of pretty good past secondary market demand.

Stub hub now shows a reduced inventory and lower prices. Counter intuitive to a thriving market. Things seem to have cooled down.

The GAM continues to churn out analytics concerning this game. Its focus is the BISON defense: Slow the Cats rushing game for the win.

Cal Davis came as close as anyone in beating the Cats in a late season loss 30-28.

They held the Cats to what I think is a season low rushing total of 159 yds and a game total of 333 yds while gaining 416 yds themselves.

The Bison had 449 yds vs Colorado, 340 in their loss to USD and 333 against SDSU, the 3 best teams they faced. If they can get 330 yds while holding MSU to the type of day they had against Cai Davis the Bison become 5 pt favorites!

In the different statistical profiles we program into the GAM for this game we find:
  • When the BISON are favored it’s usually the defense providing the edge.
  • When The Cats are in the drivers seat it’s the offense, particularly the rushing game.
Against strong teams it’s never the MSU defense providing the edge.

Stop the rushing game and the Cats fall.

FCS Championship: Anonymous Coaches Predict The Montana State vs. NDSU Winner

https://herosports.com/fcs-championship ... ndsu-bzbz/

My favorite quote
I’m taking North Dakota State in the upset! Playing in a better conference all season have the Bison battle tested and ready to play. In a showdown of the best two quarterbacks in FCS Football, Cam Miller gets the better of Tommy Mellott. NDSU wins 27 -21.
