MSU is coming off a 30-13 win over Bemidji State, while Northern State won 38-3 at Southwest Minnesota State last week.

At least at Fan Duel the Bison are on the playoff radar. Interesting company for the top 2 MWC teams.

Great! The Bison Overtime boys are back with Tamer Bobatch from Sac State. It seems Tamer is being realistic. I enjoyed the discussion about the state of Sac State football, the move to the MAC and tomorrow’s big game.
There’s a good buzz around the game. Tailgate looks good with A Classic car show included.

Hats off to the NDSU bookstore for their sponsorship of the Bison Overtime show. They are young guys, enthusiastic and skilled at their analysis, giving us entertaining insights while they hone their craft.

Giving Sac a reasonable doubt they could get their average game I picked Sac plus points and under. I’m starting to think The Bison might roll. It might be a typical FCS type game with Sac getting overwhelmed.
The game has a distinctly FCS air about it, not the same excitement as Air Force. Curious to see how well Bison fans travel. FBS is a greater challenge for the legendary and as far as I know still going attendance streak of the Roadwarrior.

UTEP @ Mich: outgunned The Miners showed some backbone before getting overwhelmed. Kept Michigan from covering by 0.5 pts giving us the win!
NIU @ Az: NIU was never in it. AZ rolled but couldn’t cover. Way to go NIU!
NDSU @ Sac State: Bison are 4-0. A transition record? GAM called a 31-18 game and got 31-10. The Herd didn’t cover, we didn’t think they would. Sac fell behind early but dug in. Good game never in doubt
Wyo @ Cent Mich: the Cowboys were flat. They should beat Cent Mich. instead they floundered. It was a no show across the board. The GAM was shutout. They travel to Fargo next.
Fresno @ SJSU: SJSU put up some resistance early but Fresno under former NDSU head coach Matt Entz was relentless shutting the GAM out.
UNM @ OK: GAME OF THE WEEK! The Lobos looked good but have to be disappointed. The win was there right down to the gun. A great showing with an unsatisfying end both the MWC and UNM look good. The Lobos were 35.5 underdogs! 1280:1 on the ML in play until the end.
The GAM is zeroing in on the new division
1,961 out 1,938 back. Far more parity here than the FCS

The Bison gave the MWC its only win.
The MWC loses to The Big 10, Big 12, MAC, SEC, PAC and CUSA.
In the only win The MWC defeated a MAC team.

Other games of note:
South Dakota 24 Boise 38. Way to go Yotes. Dish it to the PAC. No cover for Boise. USD punched them in the mouth.
Montana 17-52. Not a good showing for the Griz. Can they shake it off and make a run at the Big Sky and FCS?
James Madison and BYU send the PAC packing.
Tulane 20 Kansas State 31. No cover for KSU
Next week, a well earned week off for the victorious Bison!

Starting to hear realignment talk. Growing feeling NDSU is upwardly mobile. A logical step, if success continues, would be the PAC. It’s contingent on PAC success too. I would rather see the Bison move east. The bigs are out of the question but the American isn’t.
The Bison should follow the best media deals.
I don’t think NDSU Central Football Command spent 18 million with a years long delay for media money to not be upwardly mobile.
