Ticket prices I saw $150s - $250s. Buying? Selling? Shop around. Vivid was highest The game seems to be headed for success. NDSUs elimination feels like an FCS liberation.

Maybe..

NDSU domination was bringing apathy? Was it easy for NDSU in a division reluctant to realize its potential. NDSU hasn’t let up. The division is rising. Good luck next year. MWC hopefuls may be watching from the sidelines again.

Other schools realizing the value of the prize are challenging NDSU. Budgets are growing, coaches hired and recruiting efforts expanded. NDSU appears maxed out.

FCS seems to be changing. speculation involving G5 schools and CFP may result in some reshuffling. Growing budgets at other major FCS brands and budget sizes vs potential have a lot of upside. Success of others challenging NDSU seems to be revitalizing. It may be a while before NDSU gets to Nashville.

UNDs growing effort is an example of division growth. Redbirds in the championship. YSU not. 27 time defending national champions have pride Its fun football to watch.

Stupid to give it away for the dead end of the MWC. It’s a question of scale.

Montana may be over rated
  • Big Sky=Big Easy
  • Redbirds beat the best in the MVFC
Statistical differences are small. Conference strength possibly accounting for the MSU statistical edge?

A Redbirds upset is in the deck.

NDSU FOOTBALLS PLACE IN THE GREAT CYCLE:

Is this where the program finds itself?

Is FBS an unworkable luxury belief?
Insert G5 schools after hard times but not yet rational

Initial ticket rush is over. Capacity 35,000. A good FCS crowd 15,000. Last Fargo Dome playoff saw the Redbirds vs Bison impress the MWC with under 10,500

10,000 an average FCS big game crowd?

NDSU attendance, the premier FCS program, a good measure. Division wide 7-8,000 an FCS success. There will be more empty seats than the cfp. Of course the stadium is 2 maybe 3 times bigger than an avg FCS stadium

If you still have tickets you might as well go.

Lakes says 2 days until the big announcement!

Bobcat playoff attendance averaged 20,984, twice MWC hopeful NDSU.

2 blowouts. SFA got beat all day. Montana seemed to quit. Yale gave them a contest. I expect tonight’s game to be like the 21-13 win over Yale, 27 time defending national champions. Redbirds could win. Redbirds are tough.

Redbirds +10.5/-105 is generous against the real spread of 4

I’ll probably regret the overs.

I imagine MSU trailing 27-24 engineers a late game Bison-like drive winning 31-27.

Chances have been there but the Redbirds haven’t been able to capitalize.

Not looking good for Redbird fans but looking good for FCS. Excellent crowd, seems close to capacity. Good game. Montana States big playoff game was 22,000+, Avg 20,000 +. Enrollment is close to 15,000. If I’m the MWC I would ask them first. Montana under 8,000 probably won’t go. Who knows about NDSU?

Looks like the FBS announcement Lakes announced will be after the game?

What a game. ISU opted in. 28-28. Really a great thing for FCS
