It was touch and go last meeting. Redbirds fumbled 2 in the 4th qtr and lost their steam. Crowd was under 10,000. Bison fans didn't come out in support of the team very well. Understandable for a sophisticated fan base like NDSUs. If only it had been a lower ranked MWC team. It was a top ranked FCS team. Not worth seeing for many Bison fans.

Classic trap set by the powerful Las Vegas computers. They adjust the over unders and make it more expensive in the direction of the adjustment, up or down. Those agreeing on the old mark will follow to the new. If under at 53 you are under at 55. If over at 55 you’re over at 53. The vig on the new line will be higher sometimes materially.

It’s all in the odds. It’s amazing how many times the lines wash leaving the vig for the house. This week They are setting the trap to make a haul.

The O/u is growing in importance representing ~50% of the action.

Yale looks good. Their best chance is a defensive battle but their offense, as we saw last week, can explode. They are very smart. They are also suspect. Route factor is all Bobcats. Yale is now a tempting upset pick @ 1:1,600. We were attracted to the 27.5 4 TD spot too.

The other great game is a toss-up. SDSU stats look like the Ivy League but they can look all MVFC. Best guess for best game.

Yale is all they claim to be trailing 7-0 in the third and the Bison will survive on the strength of 5 ints. Good looking crowd. The Grizz are about 3/4 full and at last look leading SDSU 22-15.

USD had the only miss match Mercer looks a lot like the old FCS. Yale. Is a good rep of the new and improved FCS.

UPDATE: The Bison didn’t survive.
