I don't think UNLV will be as close as people think. I'm betting accordingly.

I haven’t checked but NDSU was a 3.5 favorite @ 102. They can cover and it’s cheap. UNKV plus pts was 120.. Expensive.

Kevin got me thinking. In the Nuts & Bolts table I discovered Bison passing yds estimated @ 130. Using season averages I see -8.5.

Midas has NDSU -3.5. We set -5.5, we update to -8.5, all heading in the right direction I’m expecting the spread to widen as the week goes on. We have -3.5 based on NDSUs demonstrated ability to cover 3.5.

This week could be a big TV week.

UW/NDSU drew an average of 360,000 viewers on the CW, per @On3.

It was most-viewed CW game last Saturday, ahead of Boston College-SMU in 11 a.m. slot (340K viewers) and Pac-12’s Texas State-San Diego State in 9:30 p.m. slot (260K). It also outdrew the SDSU vs Oregon State game on USA. Interesting

I3,104 fans enjoyed an exciting defensive battle in San Jose watching the Cowboys win in OT 16-13.

Trailing, the Cowboys score on a 4th Qtr drive to tie 13-13. A short OT drive led to the winning FG 16-13.

We had SHSU -2, Fan Duel had them -6.5, a spread they were unikely to cover. It was a defense battle. Both teams fell a TD short of potential keeping the total at 29 under the predicted 43.5

These guys figure half the crowd in Vegas will be NDSU. Defense and the running game lead to a Bison win
